The Dennis Peron event on Feb. 9 was a great success with a standing room only attendance of over 200 people. Dennis shared stories of this life and the story of the birth of Medical Marijuana Movement with all of the attendees for almost 2 hours and then answered a variety of questions from the audience.

Ashland Alternative Health would like to thank Dennis for traveling to Oregon and giving us all the wonderful opportunity of spending the evening with him.

Long time gay rights and cannabis activist Dennis Peron founded California’s first medical marijuana dispensary in San Francisco in 1990. In 1996 he co-authored the Compassionate Use Act, the ballot initiative which legalized marijuana for medical use in California. Join us on Tuesday February 9th, SOU Campus, Meese Auditorium 6:00 - 7:30 pm. Dennis will speak about his fight to decriminalize cannabis and share his thoughts on the future of medical marijuana and comprehensive tax and regulation in Oregon and California. The second part of this event will be opened up to questions from the audience.
